The Quality Assurance Laboratory of Hepworth PME is equipped with state-of-the art equipment and staffed with trained quality control inspectors. The laboratory performs ‘round the clock’ testing on all pipes produced at Hepworth PME to ensure quality is guaranteed.
Featuring the latest European equipment and certified by the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme, the Laboratory operates 24 hours a day with a 12 member strong team.
Types of testing include both long and short term, pressure and thermal testing which is rigorously carried out ensuring our fullest commitment to the highest industry standards.
Following the QC ISO 9001: 2000 system, we are proud to hold 11 BS Kitemark licences, which we hope to increase in the near future. A veritable pioneer within the field, we were the first to achieve the BS Kitemark within the industry and have recently become the first company in the Middle East to earn certification from Factory Mutual for the manufacture of polyethylene used in fire fighting pipe systems.
Our Quality Control department is also involved in the provision of solutions for complete systems in conjunction with our sales engineers.
Our customers are invited on site to witness testing provide feedback on the products and interact with our team.
We are backed by world leading organisations that provide full technical support. Again, we are the first company in the Middle East to fully support our clients for the duration of a pipe or fittings usage.
