Qualities including lightness, ease of transport, simplicity of jointing, speed of laying and cost effective installation have enabled PVC-U Pipe Systems to make a dynamic contribution to water engineering. Our pipe is manufactured to B.S. EN 1452-2:2000 (Kitemark License Number 3820. Hepworth Watermain pipes have excellent chemical resistance properties which render them suitable for use with aggressive liquids as in corrosive environmental conditions. Good abrasion resistance and thermal and electrical insulation are additional benefits which have to be helped ensure the extensive use of Hepworth Watermain for applications such as potable water supply, raw water supply, irrigation and the transportation of aggressive liquids.

The PVC Watermain is available in metric sizes within the range 20 mm to 400 mm from our stock. Sizes 450 to 630 are available to order.
Working pressures are class 4 bar, class 6 bar and class 10 bar and class 16 bar.
